This 10% paycut has not helped our finances. Sure, we're up since December 3, but we're also -$300 in the VISA. When I factor in the debt payoff, the savings seems huge, like 15%, or the 5% prior to the debt payoff.
I've tried to be very good about the food budgeting. French press filter, my stupid adrenal vitamins, car repair, heating bill, dinners at Setsuna, breakfast at Toulouse Petit and Dahlia Lounge, utility bills. Pokemon, gas for Pokemon tournament, coffees. I tried to do the $200/week for cash. I bought silver. We gave for Lent, for coffee&donuts at church, a pass for the 520. It seems all like frittering. And here my tax bill looms. The gods look down and laugh.
